Here begins KOSKA and I’m feeling the same excitement that a much younger man felt back in 2000, as I tentatively stepped through the doors of Channel 4.
Those early days of my career in entertainment produced my first break – a coffee with Andi Peters – and before long I was stepping into BBC TV Centre and working among a brilliant production team on Top of the Pops.
In 2005, I joined James Grant, a talent agency in sport, music and entertainment and spent the next twelve years building the company’s Sports Media division.
A TV Board Director and member of the Strategic Board, I represented Clare Balding, Frank Lampard, Tom Daley, Gabby Logan, Mark Chapman and Jake Humphrey, among many others.
I negotiated contracts with numerous broadcasters and rights holders, including the BBC, ITV, BT Sport, Channel 4, FOX Sports, Sky and Sky Sports. I also created and executed live events; worked on talent-led projects with many publishers, such as Penguin Random House, Orion, Simon & Schuster and HarperCollins; and struck commercial deals across a range of brands, including Jaguar Land Rover, P&G, Shell, BT, Adidas and Waitrose. All of which leads me back to here, to Brighton and to KOSKA.
